As the SENIORS finish up their finals today and prepare for their final week of activities before GRADUATION, I again want to remind the SENIOR PARENTS of the SENIOR AWARDS ASSEMBLY this coming Thursday at 10;00AM in the Robert Arnzen Gym. The SENIORS also have practice on Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 9:00am. The SENIOR RETREAT will be held next Friday at 9:00am at Ft. Jennings Park. Please make sure your son or daughter is in attendance for all these events they are all part of the GRADUATION REQUIREMENT unless he or she has been specifically excused by me.
I again continue to remind SENIOR PARENTS to make sure all OWES are taken care of before GRADUATION. If any monies owed to the school are not taken care of by GRADUATION, there will be no DIPLOMA in the Folder your son or daughter receives at GRADUATION. No FINAL TRANSCRIPT will be sent to the school of their choice. I do not want to pull these DIPLOMAS but it will be done. I will remind your sons and daughters at GRADUATION PRACTICE why their might not be a DIPLOMA in their Folder. Anything from Tuition not paid, to money owed in their Cafeteria fund and any other unpaid bills will be the reason the Diploma is pulled. I know you do not wish to have your son or daughter disappointed or embarrassed on GRADUATION when they do not receive a DIPLOMA because these OWES have not been taken care of. If you have any questions, PLEASE contact me or Ted Hanf at the MINISTRY CENTER.
SENIOR PARENTS are also reminded your son or daughter will receive TWO RESERVED SEATS for you for next Sunday. Please make sure they give these to you. It can be embarrassing if you come into the gym on Sunday and have to stand until every other parent has been seated because you don't have your tickets and have no idea where your seats are.
All SOPHOMORE PARENTS and and any other PARENTS of students who took the OGT TEST will receive a BOOKLET in two to three weeks that explains how well your son or daughter did in each of the five sections of the OGT. Please look these over carefully, especially if your son or daughter did not do well on a particular section. If your son or daughter passed all five sections, they do not have to worry about taking any part of the OGT again. If they did not pass all sections, they will have to retake the section or sections they did not pass. Anyone that did not pass received information about an opportunity to retake the failed section or sections at APOLLO CAREER CENTER this Summer. I highly recommend and encourage your son or daughter to do this. It is an extra opportunity they have to pass the test. REMEMBER PASSING THIS TEST IS REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION. If you have any questions or concerns, PLEASE CONTACT THE GUIDANCE OFFICE.
This is a reminder to ALL PARENTS, FINAL REPORT CARDS will not be mailed out. They must be picked up in the HIGH SCHOOL OFFICE. There are usually items that have to be attached to the FINAL REPORT CARD. When REPORT CARDS are ready, we will put a notice in the SUNDAY BULLETIN and the DELPHOS HERALD. Parents of UNDERCLASSMEN are reminded their son or daughter will not be able to pick up their REPORT CARD if anything is OWED to the school. If you have any questions please call the high school office.
I also want to remind all PARENTS OF UNDERCLASSMEN that registrations materials for next year will be emailed to parents in early AUGUST this summer. HARD COPIES of these materials will also be available in the High School Office. Their will be a notice in the SUNDAY BULLETIN and DELPHOS HERALD when these items have been sent. I will also send an email notifying you that these items are available. I realize there will probably be some "glitches" because this is the first time we are attempting to do this.
Congratulations to the BASEBALL TEAM on winning the MAC TITLE on Monday. This is the first MAC Baseball title in school history. Good Luck to them tonight in the DISTRICT FINALS against Kalida at Elida.

Hopefully, I have attached the schedule for the final two weeks of school.
