Deacon John

Our fourth grade class had a special visitor this week, Deacon John joined the students in their classroom.  Deacon John spent time explaining to the students all about being a Deacon and what it means to him.  The students played an interactive trivia game with Deacon John as they learned many interesting facts about being a Deacon.  Deacon John shared one of his many talents with the students, playing guitar.  He taught them a wonderful song and they all shared in the joys of singing together.  We want to thank Deacon John for his time and talents he shared with our fourth graders.  An experience in learning and worshiping that they will not soon forget.
