Ducks!!!

Mr. Wehri’s Freshmen Biology class has been incubating duck eggs in the classroom. Eggs from common ducks require 28 days to hatch. Start an incubator and allow the temperature and humidity to stabilize a day or two before setting eggs. Set the temperature at 37.5°C (99.5°F) and relative humidity at 55% (84.5°F on wet bulb thermometer). Dr. Phil and No Name pictured here were hatched earlier this week. Their fate will be sealed early next week when names of willing participants will be drawn from a hat. Mr. Phil is being held by Jenia Freewalt, a hopeful participant and Jill Gemmer is holding No Name
