First Day of School
PuzzleToday, August 22, 2018, marks the first day of school here at St. John’s and our students hit the ground running.  As the students entered the building, they saw several motivational chalk messages to begin their day. The Elementary students eager to begin the new school year, enter their classroom, organized their supplies in their desks and awaiting the start of class.  The High School student began their first day celebrating a Prayer Service in the Arnzen Gymnasium. The Liturgy Committee prepared a beautiful presentation which ended with a candlelit cross on the gym floor. Mr. Lee welcomed the 7th graders, new staff members and Fr. Scott Perry the new school chaplain, to the new school year.  Fr. Scott was presented a wonderful new pullover with the Delphos St. John’s Emblem, welcoming him to the Blue Jay family.  The service ended with Fr. Scott leading everyone in prayer. We give thanks and pray for all our students, faculty and staff for a wonderful new school year filled with Praise, Passion and Commitment to the Faith based education received here at DSJ.  ONCE A BLUE JAY, ALWAYS A BLUE JAY!
