Feeding God's Children Project
Our Elementary Students (K-6) spent the week of September 30th through October 4th collecting non-perishable food items to donate to the St. Vincent DePaul Society's local food pantry. Our Elementary students collected 18 baskets of food from the classrooms and delivered them to the pantry. Over 500 pounds of food, ranging from can goods, pasta, dry food, soap and toiletries were collected. The Catholic Order of Foresters Court # 76 out of Landeck were gracious enough to donate tee shirts to any student that supplied 2 or more items. The organization through their "Feeding God's Children" Project, supplied 276 tee shirts to our students. Members of the Forester's as well as Principal Stant and three of our first grade students gathered for a picture today. We are so proud of all of our students and their families as we continue to live our lives helping those less fortunate.
