2010 Blue Jay Track

The boys finished 4th in the MAC while the girls finished 6th.

In the district tournament at Minster, the girls finished 5th and the boys 4th.

In the regional meet at Troy, the boys finished 13th and the girls 10th.

The Blue Jays competed in the Midwest Athletic Conference Championships. The girls finished third with the boys finishing fifth. For complete MAC results, click here.

St. John's Track Teams competed in the District Tournament at Minster. The girls finished third and the boys finished sixth. Complete results can be found by clicking here.
 
2008 State Track and Field Tournament

St. John's track brought home two state titles this year as junior Cameron Hermiller repeated as 100m dash champion and the boys 4x100 relay team of Tony Reindel, Cameron Hermiller, Jay Leininger and Colin Etzkorn also finished first.

Other Blue Jays competing in the state track meet were Cameron Hermiller, 4th in 200m dash. Katie Grothouse finished 6th in the pole vault and the girls 4x100 relay team of Lindsay Looser, Lauren Burgei, Dana Martin and Allison Reindel finished fifth. Lindsay Looser qualified in the 100m and 200m dash and Jay Leininger qualified in the pole vault. 

2007 Blue Jay Track

The Blue Jays recently competed in the MAC Track Championships. The girls finished MAC runner-up, scoring 96 points. The boys finished 7th, scoring 47 points. For complete MAC results, click here.

2007 State Track and Field Tournament

The Blue Jays brought home another state champion in track as sophomore Cameron Hermiller topped the field in the 100 m dash to not only win the state title but set a new school record at 10.96 seconds.

Numerous other Blue Jays competed at the state track meet. The boys 4x100 team came in 7th, the girls 4x100 team placed 7th, the 4x200 team finished 5th, Katie Grothouse placed 10th in the pole vault, Lindsey Looser placed 7th in the 200 m dash, Erin Calvelage finished 7th in the 3,200 meter run and Victoria Recker qualified for the state meet in the 300 m hurdles.

The Blue Jay track teams recently competed in the Midwest Athletic Conference Track Championship. The girls finished a close third while the boys finished fifth.

In the District meet the girls finished second and the boys third.

In this past weeks Regional meet the girls track team finished first and the boys tied for second.

**Alisha Anthony is the defending state champion in the long jump and is competing at state for the fourth consecutive year. 

2006 State Track Meet

The Blue Jays brought home state championships in two events at the state track meet June 2 and 3. The boys 4x100 Relay team of Andrew DeWitt, Curt Haggard, Curtis Laudick and Cameron Hermiller topped the field and brought home the gold medal. The relay team finished undefeated on the year and set a new school record.

Alisha Anthony defended her state long jump championship by easily outjumping the competition. Alisha jumped 18'6.25" to top the competition by more than six inches. She competed in the state long jump finals four consecutive years with two state championships and two runners-up.

The girls 4x100 Relay team came in a close second in the finals and brought home a silver medal.

Erin Calvelage finished 13th in the 3200 meter run.

Curtis Laudick finished 6th in the 200 meter dash and 7th in the 100 meter dash.

Paul Metzner finished 14th in the pole vault.

Not qualifying for the finals were: Alisha Anthony, 200 M dash, Tori Recker, long jump and 300 M hurdles, the girls 4x200 Relay and Curt Haggard, 110 M hurdles and 300 M hurdles.
