The Kiwanis Club distributed their annual gift of trees this week. Allen Soil and Water Conservation District and the Lima Kiwanis Club are delivering young little tree seedlings to the school for all the first and third graders. The third graders will each receive a Norway Spruce and the first graders will be getting a White Flowering Dogwood. We hope that you will take the time to watch the 12 minute video “me & my tree” that should be in your classroom/school somewhere so that the children understand the benefits of trees in our community and planting considerations.
