Why Delphos St. John's?

Faith

The Catholic Faith is the reason for the existence of our school, the root of our education, and the foundation for our students.  Education rooted in Christ and a knowledge of the faith provides a broader vision to our students where the world is open to new and exciting possibilities.  We see education for your family as a journey and our greatest blessing would be to join this journey with your family to help share God’s unconditional love and the Catholic faith here and beyond St. John's. Learning and living a Christ-centered life makes our own Blue Jay family a “Tradition Worth Keeping”.

Academics

We hold our students to a high standard of achievement, with a curriculum that works to obtain academic excellence. As a foundation to cultivate well-rounded students, we provide a welcoming environment for creativity and innovation.  Our students consistently score above average on state/national assessments, while having access to a college-prep curriculum, state-of-the-art technology, cutting-edge student spaces, career development/exploration, and special education programs to help all students find success within and beyond our walls.

Athletics

Our students not only excel in the classroom, but in athletic activities, with a chance to participate in any of our 16 teams. We are a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) and part of the Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC). Our athletes participate in state sanctioned competitions where we have a history rich in athletic tradition and success. Our Catholic experience offers a unique opportunity for athletics to serve a purpose of authentic formation and spirituality of each student.  For that, we recognize the role of athletics in the complete formation of every student.

Student Life

Creating a strong sense of family is important to us.  This is evident in how we care for one another through programming such as Senior-Kindergarten Friends, service hours, and welcoming our alumni and families in all we do. Our clubs and organizations cater discipline and leadership skills needed beyond graduation. An on-campus outdoor Exploration Garden and field trips provide outside learning opportunities. Above all, a key to being a Blue Jay is the belief that hard work and serving others is a blessing to share in society and a universal truth in affecting positive change in others' lives.
