Class Options
Elementary - Art classes are held once a week for 1st-6th grades. EB/K includes art within their classrooms/curriculum.
Junior High - 7th grade takes a quarter of art and 8th grade has the opportunity to sign up for a semester art class.
High School - There are 5 different art courses offered for grades 9-12: Painting, Drawing, Ceramics, Photography, and Advanced Art. These courses are a semester long and are rotated yearly. We will explore various art mediums, techniques, art concepts, art history and subject matter. Although these courses have different contents, the goal of art is to stretch creativity, art knowledge and gain confidence as an artist.
Art Club
Art Club is officially up and running! It meets monthly and gives students the opportunity to explore their own art making or join in on club projects. During this time together, students can explore other types of art that normal classes may not have time to cover. There are art volunteer opportunities available as well! This is a great club to be with friends and fellowship in an art setting.
